About Me
Since I was a child, I have been drawn to examining life and curious about questions that are as heart-forward as they are heady. How and where do we find meaning? How and when we do we experience pain and joy? Where do we see beauty and experience fear? How do we cultivate a sense of freedom and deepen our connections?
For the last several years I have worked directly with clients to better understand and alleviate experiences of depression, anxiety and the impacts of trauma on daily functioning and their relationships.
This work is deeply meaningful to me and I believe it is to my clients as well. Prior to my work in psychology, I spent several decades working in communications and the arts which has proved to be a generous and fruitful foundation for my work as a psychotherapist.
I recently completed a year-long certification in psychoanalytic psychotherapy from the Los Angeles Institute and Society for Psychoanalytic Studies. I am currently working under the supervision of
Billie Weiser, PsyD (California / MF28800).
My license number is (California / AMFT 136915).
